At Tel-Harmonics we provide the highest quality of cabling for all our services. We provide cabling for telephone systems, data networks, fibre-optic networks, alarm systems, access control, and video surveillance. We also pre-wire for all services and provide custom residential cabling/wiring for home theaters and speaker systems as well.
Cat5E Cable
Cat5E Cable is an enhanced version of Cat5 that adds specifications for Far end crosstalk. Although Gigabit Ethernet was designed for use with Cat5 cable, the tighter specifications associated with Cat5e cable and connectors make it an excellent choice for use with 1000BASE-T, and is also used to carry many other signals such as basic "Telephony" voice services, "IBM token ring" token ring, and ATM (at up to 155 Mbit/s, over short distances).
Cat6 Cable
CAT6 cable contains four pairs of copper wire like the previous generation CAT5. Unlike CAT5, however, CAT6 fully to 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) and supports communications at more than twice the speed of CAT5e, the other popular standard for Gigabit Ethernet cabling. An enhanced version of CAT6 called CAT6a supports up to 10 Gbps speeds.
Telecommunication Feeder Cable
25/50/100 Pair Telecommunication Cable is used for internal connection of telephone systems and other communication equipment. Usually insulated and sheathed in PVC, the cables offer a very cost effective general cable signal for fixed installations
Telecommunication Cable
3/4 Pair Telecommunication Cable is used for internal connection of telephone systems and it's peripheral equipment.Coaxial Cable
Coaxial Cable consists of a centre wire surrounded by insulation, then a grounded shield of braided wire. The shield minimizes electrical and radio frequency interference. It is the primary type of cabling used by the cable television industry. It is also used for computer networks and video surveillance cameras. It is more expensive than standard telephone wire but can carry more data and is less susceptible to interference
Optical Fibre
Optical Fibre or Fibre Optic Cable is known for its reliability and immunity to sources of interference such as EFI and RFI. It has an extremely large bandwidth ranging from 600 MHz to 1000 MHz, and therefore is suited to multimedia applications. Optical fibre cables do not conduct electricity or support ground loops, so will be unaffected by lightning strikes.
Alarm Cable
2 Pair Alarm Cable is another low voltage cable that interconnects your alarm panel to the peripheral alarm equipment monitoring your home or office. Which includes door contacts, motion detectors, smoke detectors, etc.
